The Bedel Security Team is excited to introduce you to its newest team member, vCISO Specialist Aaron Darnall!
Aaron spent six years in community banking, beginning in teller and account maintenance roles before advancing into an information security role. Serving as the Information Security Officer for three years, Aaron developed a proficiency in matching risk management frameworks and strategies to the size and complexity of a community bank.
Aaron believes in embracing and adapting to emerging technologies and enjoys the challenges presented by the ever-changing environment of information technology and cybersecurity. He is a Certified Banking Security Manager and consistently seeks to learn more and continue growing in the cybersecurity field.
When asked about the addition, our Operations Manager, Errica Padgett, had this to say:
We’re excited to welcome Aaron to the team! His experience in community banking brings valuable insight and perspective that will support our continued growth and service to our customers. Aaron lives in Evansville, Indiana, with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys hiking, weight-lifting, and kicking back with a good fantasy novel.
