Welcome to The Bedel Security Team Grace & Ryan

The Bedel Security Team grew by two members this month with the addition of two new Specialists, Grace Kim and Ryan Otto.

Grace began her career in banking, where she saw firsthand how fraud and security incidents affect both customers and financial institutions. This experience sparked her interest in cybersecurity and led her to complete formal training in the field.

She has supported small businesses, nonprofits, and religious organizations in strengthening their overall security posture. Grace believes that with the right security measures in place, organizations can reduce their attack surface and prevent vulnerabilities from being exploited. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and is committed to supporting organizations as they work to improve and maintain their security programs.

Grace lives in Connecticut with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano and traveling with her family.

With over a decade of experience supporting banks as a trusted lending partner and, more recently, guiding clients in the software industry, Ryan brings a unique blend of industry insight and genuine empathy to every interaction. Having personally navigated the challenges of financial fraud, Ryan is deeply committed to helping financial institutions strengthen their security practices and protect what matters most.

Known for building honest, lasting relationships, Ryan thrives on delivering outstanding service and making complex processes feel simple for clients. Whether collaborating with a new team or supporting long-term partners, Ryan believes that trust and transparency are the foundation of every successful project.

After six interstate moves as an active duty military spouse, Ryan and her family have finally put down roots in Alabama. Outside of work, you’ll find Ryan enjoying quality time with family and friends, running, or cheering on the kids at their activities.
